Dr. Vilma Valdez Kim is responsible for the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Vision Méndez. She studied ophthalmology in Mexico City, at the General Hospital of Mexico, S. S. She later conducted a subspecialty in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the same institution, graduating with honors.

Dr. Valdez is a member of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology, A. C., and the Mexican Center for Strabismus, B. C. and other national and international associations. Dr. Valdez is the physician responsible for pediatric ophthalmology in several public and private institutions in the city of Tijuana, Baja California.
