Conjunctivitis
Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva layer, the outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of the eyelids.
The most common manifestations are redness, photophobia, and lacrimation. Other manifestations are based on the cause, as morning rheum discharge (due to bacteria), enlarged lymph (in viral conjunctivitis), and itchy eyes (due to allergies), amongst others.
