Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking
A non-invasive procedure performed through the topical application of riboflamine followed by UV light. This causes an increased stiffness of the cornea consequently halting progressive deformation.
This surgery is for patients with Keratoconus or for those post-operated of laser with fluctuations. No hospitalization is required and recovery is quick.
Cornea without cross-linking, fewer joints (red), weaker.
